GND Sports Management Portfolio

There’s lots of reasons to celebrate at GND!

In life, this side of review and evaluation is too often missed, if looked at all. Instead, as individuals we tend to focus on what’s not working well so we can change it. This is a very good practice, but we also often forget to recognise what’s gone well and purposefully pause to celebrate.

Celebrating success stories is important because it helps us to feel good, share success, learn and adapt, be and remain motivated, develop a success mindset, and release endorphins in our body and dopamine in our brain.

Take a look at our key achievements with our clients, through our sports management and coaching services.

Eric Rojas

Eric started his career at Atletico Madrid in Spain where he spent a number of years. In his time there he won many accolades including Top Goalscorer and Player of the Year trophies.

Eric moved onto EF AV La Chimenia in Spain where he was also a hit scoring goals and becoming top goalscorer. When Eric and his family made a permanent move to England in February 2019, he was recommended to join GND Football Academy. It didn't take Eric long to settle in, scoring 4 goals in his 6 games for GND Football Academy that season.

With Eric's impressive form and history, we swiftly signed Eric onto our Sports Management programme, which resulted in Eric signing for Bromley FC U16s in August 2019, having just turned 14.

Since then, due to COVID-19 and other factors, Eric chose to return to GND Football Academy for the 2020/21 season. Hopes are high for Eric and we will continue to monitor and support his progress over the next few years.

Kareem Isiaka

Kareem is a pacey forward who can play in either in a central or wide position able to pounce on opportunities from set piece situations due to his height.

Kareem was scouted by Greatly Nurtured Development when he was 13 and was quickly snapped up by Charlton Athletic. He spent 5 years at the club and came to prominence most by being the top scorer for the U18s, finding the net 13 times in 26 games, giving him a ratio of one goal every two games. He also showed his goal scoring prowess by scoring 1 goal in 6 games for the U23s.

Kareem was released in July 2020 and signed for Welling United shortly after. His stint and Welling United was short and impacted by COVID-19. As soon as the barriers opened, Kareem signed for UMF Vikingur Olafsvik and made a flying start by scoring 7 goals in 2 games.

Zane Ayton-Green

Zane had an explosive start to his football career signing for Millwall FC at the age of 13 and having a 4-year spell with them. He received a lot of interest from Chelsea FC and Arsenal FC at the time, but chose to stay with Millwall FC.

Zane was released by Millwall FC in March 2018 and signed for Bromley FC U23s in September 2018. Whilst at Bromley FC, Zane came to the attention of many professional clubs, with unsuccessful trials at Luton FC, Peterborough United FC and Shrewsbury Town FC. Zane’s time at Bromley FC came to an end in June 2021 and is currently a free agent hoping to sign a professional contract for 2021/22.

If you are a member of the GND Family and have a major achievement or goal reached with us that you would like to share with the world, let's hear from you so we can celebrate together!
